KUMBHALGARH FORT

KUMBHALGARH FORT, a personification of the mighty grandeur and a testament of the bravery and invigorating attitude of the mighty Rajputs. Although Rajasthan is flooded with forts and palaces but one fort which is an epitome of Rajputi valour in true sense is KUMBHALGARH FORT, fortress of Mewar situated in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan in the aravali mountain range.


Kumbhalgarh fort was built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century and now is a part of UNESCO world heritage site in the category of Hill forts of Rajasthan. It is now open for public and is lightened beautifully for few minutes each evening.

Kumbhalgarh is at a distance of approximate 80 Kms from Udaipur and is the second largest fort in Udaipur after Chittaurgarh fort.

Nearest Itinerary--- Udaipur Aerodrome and Udaipur railway station. It is hardly a 2 hours ride from Udaipur.

Entry fee--- For Indians(10 INR) and for Foreigners it is(100 INR).

Timings--- 9 AM to 6 PM
